About me

I am a Distinguished Researcher (CIDEGENT) at the the Department of Prehistory, Archaeology and Ancient History of the University of Valencia since August 2023 and an Affiliated Researcher at the Department of Archaeology and Cultural History (IAK) of the Norwegian University of Science & Technology (NTNU). 

I hold a BA in Archaeology and Prehistory (University of Valencia, 1998), an MSc in archaeological prospection - shallow geophysics (University of Bradford, 2008) and a PhD in near-surface geophysics for archaeological prospection (University of Glasgow, 2013). 

I have held positions at the IAK-NTNU (Trondheim) from 2017-2023, the GeoSat ReSeArch Lab (IMS-FORTH) in Rethymno (Crete) from 2013-2015 and the CTBTO in Vienna from 2015-2016. My field experience includes work in Scotland, Greece, Cyprus, Austria, Jordan, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Estonia and Norway and amongst these, I have been so lucky to work at some of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the world.
