The Soil Science & Archaeo-Geophysics Alliance

'The Soil Science & Archaeo-Geophysics Alliance: going beyond prospection' project is an interdisciplinary network of scientists that aims to develop, promote and facilitate scientific activities that integrates archaeo-geophysics and soil science with the overall goal of maximising interpretation of proxy data for archaeological investigations. SAGA’s network and related activities are funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST).

I acted as the main proposer during the proposal writing-up and I was elected the chair during SAGA's kick-off meeting in October 2018. The current network has ~150 members from 37 countries.
